Guided Tours of Edmonton

Enjoy a tour of Edmonton from a francophone perspective. French was the first European language spoken in Alberta, and  the francophone roots run deep to this day.

Flying Canoë Volant Festival

Late January - Early February  

 

The annual festival is one of Western Canada’s largest winter celebrations of francophone, Indigenous and Métis cultures and takes place in Edmonton’s French Quarter in the heart of Bonnie Doon. This illuminated artworks festival features stories, dance, music, whimsical fun and explores the magic of a winter’s night.

KDays - Edmonton’s extravaganza of rides, games, music, food and adventure.  Join La Cité francophone in Klondike Park and enjoy an array of artists, their music, magic, stories, songs, dance, and much more!

Fringe Music Festival at La Cité

An extension of the City tour, this experience will include exploring the rich francophone heritage in areas north of Edmonton, with visits to: St Albert, Legal, Métis Crossing, St. Paul and other places.
