Roger Dallaire

Storyteller, musician, actor, puppeteer, and folklorist, Roger is an accomplished artist and passionate about French Canadian history and traditions. Whether he wields the accordion or the ruin-babines, whether he taps his foot or tells you his incredible adventures as a young farmer, Roger takes you into his universe with all the energy, humor, and fantasy of an outstanding storyteller. Roger has much to offer. Proud of his French Canadian cultural heritage, he is passionate about sharing his "joie de vivre" with everyone.

Flora Luna

Flora Luna, also known as Geneviève Freynet, emerged on the national scene in December 2021. Notable for her performances at the Festival international de la chanson de Granby in 2022 and the International Winnipeg Jazz Festival in 2023, she adeptly fuses pop, jazz, rock, and folk. Her debut album, out in March 2024, mirrors her authentic, self-assured, and engaging artistry.

The Great Balanzo turns the everyday into an adventure with circus & comedy for all ages. A modern show with a classic feel that’s full of circus tricks, vaudeville classics, a touch of magic, all wrapped up in a silly elegance! Balanzo is played by physical actor and circus artist, Aytahn Ross, who’s been seen live by over a million people in 13 countries around the world. He’s had repeat invitations to Just for Laughs, performed solo for the Governor General of Canada, and performed with the Edmonton Symphony Orchestra.

He has performed throughout Canada and internationally and has shared the stage with Chucho Valdes, Maria Schneider, Hugh Fraser, Oscar Valdes - Diakara, the Canadian Chamber Orchestra, PJ Perry and Tommy Banks among many others

Joël Lavoie

Musician, producer, and educator Joël Lavoie is a veteran of the Alberta music scene. He is an award-winning songwriter and has performed all across North America with his bands Lé Twés, Les Fistons, Non Non Non, and Allez Ouest. He is a master of electric blues-rock guitar, drawing inspiration from artists like Stevie Ray Vaughn, John Scofield and The Dereks Trucks Band. He is also a prolific and impactful signer/songwriter whose music explores emotion and authenticity.

Le Fuzz!!

Le Fuzz is a unique Edmonton, five-piece ensemble. Their music is an infectious blend of language and rhythm, the result of 20 years of gigs and journeys. Le Fuzz Has recorded two full length albums with Scott Franchuk*. The Band was formed in 2002 and they released their first record in 2006 – 'Vie la Vida!’ In 2014 they released their sophomore album ‘Usona’. Le Fuzz is energetic, creative, original and delivers a spectacular live show suitable for all ages.

Daniel Gervais & Band

Join us to celebrate the twice North American Grand Master Fiddle Champion Daniel Gervais for an evening of traditional and contemporary French-Canadian music a well as Jazz, Swing and much more. Daniel has been playing the violin since the age of five and is a master of all fiddle styles as well as classical violin. He recently completed a Master of Music degree in classical violin at the University of Alberta and is in demand as a soloist, clinician, and music educator.

MelAfrique

Melafrique is an Afro-fusion band formed in Edmonton, Canada in 2016. The name Melafrique is a condensed form of the term "Melanin from Africa". We play a variety of genres: Jazz, R&B, Reggae, Neo-soul; in combination with different African styles of music. Melafrique hopes to inspire the world with good music, and through music, we express our identities as African people, Caribbean people, and musicians. The band includes members from Kenya, Nigeria, Ghana, Angola, Jamaica, and Canada.
