The courtyard-shaped Théâtre Servus Credit Union at La Cité francophone offers an intimate event experience, with its three levels of seating bringing the audience close to the stage. The versatile theatre can be configured in proscenium, promenade, thrust, cabaret, or theatre-in-the-round formats. Recent upgrades to the seating and the lighting console ensure the highest level of comfort and technical capabilities.

Labour charges for events taking place on a holiday will be double standard rates.
Deposit & Payment
An initial deposit of 50% of the total rental cost
is due within 10 days of receipt of the rental contract. Rentals are not confirmed without this deposit.
The remaining balance must be paid in full, a minimum of 30 days prior to the first day of rental.
Rental Requirements

All renters must submit a written production schedule to the Technical Director 30 days prior to rental period.

All rentals are subject to a scheduling and production meeting which must take place no less than three weeks prior to the rental period.

Rental period includes load-in, setup, rehearsals, production/event run time, strike, load-out, and house restoration.
Food & Beverages
Food and beverages (alcoholic and non-alcoholic, except bottled water) are not permitted in the theatre space.
La Cité francophone possesses liquor licences
for the theatre and the lobby (Rotunda). CAFÉ bicyclette has the exclusive rights to sell alcohol
and food-related products in all public and rental areas at La Cité francophone.
Insurance
Renters must possess a valid Commercial General Liability Insurance policy in the amount of $1,000,000 for the rental period. The insurance certificate must be received by La Cité francophone a minimum of five days prior to rental period.
Cancellation
Cancellation notices, or changes to rental dates,
must provided in writing.
Cancellation Notices

Cancellations with 90 days notice will be provided a full refund of their deposit, and will not owe the balance of rental.

Cancellations with 60 days notice will forfeit their deposit, but will not owe the balance of rental fees.

Cancellations with 30 days notice will forfeit their deposit, and will be charged the balance of rental fees as well as the cost of any expenses incurred.
Additional Information
La Cité francophone is a public building with operating standards to ensure the security and safety of the public and organizers. This includes the presence of security personnel after regular business hours, and safe and unencumbered access to exits, stairs and other areas.
